How is a username different from a UID?
A username is the named part of a profile URL. A UID is numeric. This tool only extracts IDs explicitly present in supported URLs; it does not treat post, photo or video IDs as a person’s UID.
Never paste Facebook tokens or cookies here. Username lookup requires a separate integration with an authorized data source.
A PRACTICAL GUIDE
Which Facebook URLs contain a numeric UID?
The extractor reads an ID that is already present in a supported URL: profile.php?id=…, /UID, /groups/UID or /pages/name/UID. A numeric group or page ID identifies that object; it is not automatically the personal UID of its owner. Post, photo and video IDs are not treated as profile IDs.
A named profile URL such as facebook.com/example.name does not reveal a numeric UID by itself. This version has no username lookup API and reports those entries as unresolved. Your list is parsed on your device. There is no need to provide Facebook passwords, cookies or access tokens.
- Paste supported URLs, one per line, up to 100 entries.
- Review extracted numeric IDs and unresolved entries.
- Copy the deduplicated ID list and confirm the relevant object on Facebook if needed.
