Your secrets stay with you.

Nhip Auth calculates TOTP with Web Crypto in your browser. This authenticator never sends secrets or codes to a server and keeps no history. The app has no analytics. Ads run in a separate-origin frame and cannot read your secrets. Theme preferences use sessionStorage; the notepad has separate optional storage and must not be used for 2FA secrets. The host still receives normal page-load metadata, including your IP. Secrets are never placed in URLs.

Copying places a code on your device clipboard. Clearing or reloading drops the app state, but cannot guarantee erasure from operating system memory or the clipboard. This tool is not a secret vault or a replacement for an authenticator with backups.

Compatibility and limitations

Supports RFC 6238 TOTP with SHA-1 / SHA-256 / SHA-512, 6 or 8 digits, periods of 15–120 seconds and Base32 secrets of at least 80 bits. HOTP, Steam Guard and push authentication are not supported. Time comes from your device and is not synchronized by this site. Store secrets somewhere trusted and only use accounts you are authorized to access.
